The origins of SETPOINT and the VC-8000, Key technology and architecture milestones
Randy Chitwood has been fortunate to have led the development of several industry standard products while working for Bently Nevada. The 3300, 3500, System 1 and XL proximity transducers were some of the successful products developed under his leadership. In 2009 Randy left Bently Nevada to and formed an engineering team to build the next generation machinery protection and condition monitoring system which eventually became known as the BK Vibro SETPOINT VC8000 system. In this 30 minute Webinar Randy will share the invention of the systems key technology (US Patent 9,323,766) and the market disruptive decision to converge machinery condition data with plantwide process data available in the OSI PI system.
